DUAL-WAVELENGTH VERSATILITY

How MultiFrax Works

MultiFrax utilizes two highly complementary wavelengths to target different depths within the skin. Microscopic laser columns trigger natural healing and remodeling.

DEEP DERMAL PENETRATION

1550 nm — Resurfacing & Collagen

The 1550 nm wavelength penetrates deeper into the dermal layers of the skin, targeting water content to stimulate collagen production and tighten the support structure.

Primary Indications:
  • • Acne and surgical scar revision
  • • Fine lines, deep wrinkles, and aging creases
  • • Rough skin texture and enlarged pores
  • • General dermal elasticity and firmness
SUPERFICIAL EPIDERMAL TARGET

1927 nm — Pigmentation & Tone

The 1927 nm wavelength targets the superficial epidermal layer. It is highly absorbed by melanin, making it exceptionally effective for resolving surface discoloration.

Primary Indications:
  • • Sunspots, age spots, and sun damage
  • • Melasma, dyschromia, and hormonal pigmentation
  • • Uneven skin tone and superficial freckling
  • • Pre-cancerous skin lesions (actinic keratoses)

CLINICAL RECOVERY PROFILE

What to Expect During & After Treatment

Because MultiFrax is a fractional, non-ablative laser, it treats microscopic sections of the skin while keeping the top protective layers fully intact. This promotes much faster healing compared to ablative systems.

During treatment, patients feel a heating sensation. Post-treatment, temporary redness, swelling, warmth, and mild sensitivity are expected. Over the next 3 to 7 days, patients may notice a temporary bronzing or flaking texture as the treated micro-zones exfoliate naturally, revealing refreshed, evenly-toned skin.

Post-care: Gentle moisturizer & mineral sunscreenDowntime: Typically 1–3 Days
